Why does easyvest launch its blog?
Our objective with this new blog is to provide educational articles and exclusive analyses enabling Belgians to (re)discover finance.
This is it! After our fast and furious launch one month ago, we are proud to present our blog.
This is no secret, Belgians’ financial knowledge is quite weak. The main reason is that financial education is practically inexistent from the compulsory core curriculum. This is a major problem has finance and money are pervasive in our society.
As a result, Belgians are forced to learn by themselves, or worst, to be influenced by crooked financial gurus. Lies and wacky ideas grow well on the fertile soil of financial ignorance.
At easyvest, we know that we are extremely lucky to have been given the opportunity to learn finance at university. Today we believe it’s time for us to give back and to transmit that knowledge. Of course, we don’t pretend to be omniscient. We must remember that finance remains a social science, thus human, still filled with many unknowns and uncertainties.
Therefore, we will aim to write at least one post per week. Those posts will cover educational topics about finance as well as exclusive analyses performed by the easyvest team. Our hope is that, through these posts, the beginner will take more control over his personal finance, while the expert will rediscover simple financial truths.
