How is calculated the pension capital for med students?

Your status of contracted medical student gives you access to different options to constitute your pension capital.

On the one hand, the INAMI contributes a free annual premium to all contracted doctors. This premium amounts to 4.941€ in 2019.

On the other hand, you can build a free pension plan that is 100% deductible. The annual premium is limited to 3.747€ in 2019. Your faculty might even contribute for you in some cases (e.g. MACCS at Saint Luc)

The projected capital takes into account a guaranteed return of 0,8% and an expected profit sharing of 1,2%, the 10% allocation to the solidarity fund and the costs of easyvest.
