The assets (funds and financial instruments) that you have under portfolio management with easyvest are deposited with our custodian, the limited company Leleux Associated Brokers, a stock exchange company, company number 0426.120.604, with its registered office at Rue Royale 97, B-1000 Brussels, RPM Brussels.
As an easyvest client, your assets are protected by the Belgian protection system (Guarantee Fund and Protection Fund) for deposits and financial instruments, up to an amount of € 100,000 for funds on deposit and up to an amount of € 20,000 for financial instruments.
The guarantee system intervenes when a credit institution, stockbroker or other investment firm is no longer able to meet its obligations to its clients.

In the event of a default by easyvest or its depositary, the Guarantee Fund and the Protection Fund, in collaboration with the European Union Resolution Fund, offer you double protection:
the first protection covers the loss of cash assets held in the form of account deposits (whether current, term or savings accounts). The compensation of the Guarantee Fund amounts to a maximum of € 100,000 for this type of assets, per person and per institution.
the second protection intervenes when you are no longer able to recover the financial instruments (i.e. securities such as shares, bonds, units in UCIs or trackers, etc.) that you have entrusted to the defaulting institution. In this case, a further compensation of maximum 20.000 € per person per institution can be obtained. But the financial instruments are registered in your name, you should be able to recover all of them without the need for indemnification by the Deposit and Financial Instruments Fund.
