Should beginners buy ETFs?

ETFs are very popular among beginner investors, and for good reason. They’re easy to understand, affordable, and provide instant diversification, which helps spread risk across many companies or sectors with a single investment.
Instead of picking individual stocks (which can be risky and time-consuming), many beginners prefer ETFs because they offer exposure to entire markets or industries, often at a low cost. They’re also traded like stocks, which makes them flexible and accessible.
Of course, whether an ETF is right for you depends on your personal financial situation, investment goals, and risk tolerance. But for many starting out, ETFs can be a simple and efficient way to begin building a long-term portfolio.
At Easyvest, we use ETFs as the core of our investment strategy, because we believe in keeping things smart, diversified, and low-cost.
