How do we estimate the pension income needs of Belgians?

We estimate the distribution of the retirement income needs of Belgians based on data from the Belgian statistical office.

In particular, we use data from studies on the household budget, taxable income, and the consumer price index.

From there, we create a mathematical model that estimates the statistical distribution of the pension needs of the Belgian population.

In particular, this model is capable of two things: (1) it can estimate what the average pension of Belgians is, and (2) for a given level of pension income, it can estimate how many Belgians live with more or with less than this amount to the pension.
